It has been a long and painful journey for singer songwriter, Jennifer Paige, since her heady international fame of the late 1990s. At that point, she was touring the world and topping the charts in 16 different countries with her timeless single, Crush. Three successful albums, Jennifer Paige, Positively Somewhere and Best Kept Secret, soon followed putting the young Jennifer at the top of her game. Yet tragedy was soon to follow in 2008, with the death of both her mother and her father within two weeks of each other. Their passing hit her hard and left her with no desire to sing.
It took almost four years for Jennifer to return to the microphone, recording a Christmas album with the help of friends and family. She described the experience as reconnecting her with her passion. “When I say I believe in the healing power of music,” she says, “I know firsthand it’s true.”
